Draw your dream pizza and WIN!
To celebrate the summer holidays, we gave young booklovers the chance to win an extremely tasty prize by drawing their dream pizza – whether they love weird and wacky toppings or prefer to keep it cheesy with traditional toppings. Steve Webb, author-illustrator of the hilarious graphic novel Peng and Spanners, sliced through the entries and picked the most supreme winners!
Winner
And the overall winner is... 11-year-old Emilie, whose dream pizza was chosen by Steve Webb!
Steve said: "What an incredible and sometimes inedible (dog food and gravy! Ewwww!) selection of pizzas. They were all fabulous, some very funny ideas. After much laughing and thinking, my fave pizza design is by Emilie E. There is SOOOOO much on this crazy pizza, with different stuffed crusts including a little toy teddy bear hidden inside part of the crust! Genius. Congratulations to Emilie and the runners-up. Thank you all for taking the time to dream up and draw you pizzas, Pizza Pete would be very impressed!"
Prizes
The main prize was a signed copy of Steve Webb's hilarious graphic novel Peng and Spanners, £50 to spend on pizza, plus a comic book making kit. Each runner-up won a signed copy of the book.
Peng's favourite pizza has all kinds of crazy toppings.
What flavours would your dream pizza be?
